- 1977年早稲田大学政治経済学部を卒業。在学中に早稲田大学絵画会を友人たちとともに創立。在学中より公募展「白日会」に出品し、絵を描き続ける。光学機器メーカーを2013年に退職後、再び活発に絵画制作活動を再開。森や山の風景、身近な自然、静物、花などを中心に年間150点あまりの油彩画を描き続けている。主に個展を中心を活動中。
